With the rapid development of the Turkish Industry over the last 40 years, and the simultaneous increase in demand for industrial lubricants, PETROFER Turkey has invested considerably in the Izmir, Turkey plant
PETROFER Turkey financed a new production plant with a state-of-the-art high technology manufacturing operation.
The production area and warehouse are 1800 m². There are now 6 new blenders to supply the MOULD OIL SYN COS, ENVOLUBRIC HE and TAG CHEMICALS ranges due to demand from the steel industry and timber sectors in Turkey and surrounding countries. This plant is designed for fully automated production incorporating the following functions:
- Base oil additions
- Loadcell technology in blenders
- Mixing
- Heating
- Cooling
- Filtration
- Degassing
- Homogenization and blending
- Deaeration
- Fillin
Additionally, PETROFER Turkey has also taken great care to further improve the safety of its employees. This was achieved for example, with: sensors for platform doors in all plants, additional ventilation in the facility, temperature warning systems in blenders and a safe walking gantry at the top of the base oil tanks.
